Is Brexit distressing the January housing market in Stoke-on-Trent

Brexit is deterring some buyers in Stoke-on-Trent, but on the whole it's business as usual!

The UK remains in limbo... Are we coming out of the European Union in March 2019 or not? No one seems to know including the leader of our country, Theresa May! Is it affecting the housing market? The simple answer to that is yes and no. Of course there are people holding back to see what the future holds. These people are generally those looking at the top end of the market. The middle market properties are still on the whole selling as well as ever. To give you an insight into our January figures, we have put 20 properties up for sale and agreed sales on 21. Both very respectable amounts as we are only 23 days into January. These figures are around where we would normally expect to be.

What does the rest of the year hold for us? Only time will tell.... in the meantime its business as usual as we continue to sell and let properties for the lovely people of North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
